Île-aux-Moines, largest island ...47.5852N, 2.8510W<br /><br />Île-aux-Moines, largest island in the Gulf of Morbihan. <br /><br />This website (http://www.mairie-ileauxmoines.fr/accueil/decouverte/situation_geographique) suggests it has a granitic spine, and it is evident from the airphoto that it has numerous sandy beaches. There is evidence also of (sandy?) tidal flats that may be exposed at low tide.
